Equitas is an interview intelligence software designed to aid in fair and inclusive hiring, enabling companies to build diverse teams. They have created the fairest way to conduct and score live interviews using frameworks, structured scoring, and interview data capture.

Their mission is to transform the hiring process through the use of technology and data to foster engaging conversations that provide each candidate or employee with equal opportunities while enabling HR teams to make quicker decisions with confidence.

The Project

Our task was to design a platform for employers, helping them to modernise the typical interview experience while ensuring the process is still fair, consistent, and engaging.

Streamlining the entire interview process was the focus here. Equitas provides employers with a centralised system where campaigns are initiated, candidates are invited and scheduling is all performed in one place.

Interviews are then captured and transcribed to allow referencing at a later stage. Objectivity was important for Equitas so an evidence-based scoring system was included to alleviate guessing and gut instinct.

To top it off, data and key performance indicators are analyzed by the system to identify bias and monitor areas for improvement and optimization. It was important to present this data in the clearest way possible, ensuring the most important data was easily legible.


The project was a huge success and we maintain a solid relationship with Equitas and are invested in the long-term success of their project. I am confident that we will collaborate and work together for the foreseeable future.
